Day 1: New Zealand – – Hong Kong

Day 2: Hong Kong (B)
Today is yours to do as little or as much as you like, whether that be exploring the streets of Hong Kong or taking advantage of your hotel’s many facilities. Your home away from home will be the 5-star Millennium Hong Kong , a newly refurbished, modern hotel equipped with an open-air roof top swimming pool, fitness centre and a number of restaurants.
Day 3: Hong Kong (B)
Spend the day exploring the city. Hop aboard one of the city’s iconic trams and journey through the vibrant streets, admiring its many sights. Why not take a trip to the Tai O Fishing Village or chow down on some delicious dim sum.
Day 4: Hong Kong (B, L, D)
Indulge in one last breakfast at your hotel, before making your way to the cruise terminal. Today you’ll commence your 9 night cruise of Japan on-board Royal Caribbean’s Voyager of the Seas®.
Day 5: At Sea (B, L, D)
Today is your first day at sea. Choose to do as little or as much as you like, as you cruise your way towards Vietnam. Take advantage of the on-board facilities Voyager of the Seas has to offer, including playing a game of mini golf, dining at one of the many sensational restaurants and seeing one of the entertaining shows.
Day 6: At Sea (B, L, D)
The day is yours at leisure. Relax in your stateroom or head out to participate in one of the many on-board activities.
Day 7: Hiroshima (B, L, D)
Today you’ll arrive in Hiroshima, infamous for the atomic bomb attack that destroyed its beautiful city in 1945. Spend the day discovering its many iconic sights, including the Itsukushima Shrine and Hiroshima Castle. Visit the Peace Memorial Museum and reflect on the sombre event that devastated this innocent community all those years ago.
Day 8: Kobe (B, L, D)
The gateway to Kyoto, Kobe is the next stop on your cruise. A gorgeous port city, things to do whilst here include taking a dip in a traditional onsen or hot spring, hiking to admire the stunning Nunobiki Falls, and even catching a train to the bustling city of Osaka, located just a short while away.
Day 9: Kyoto (B, L, D)
Full of culture, history and spectacular temples, Kyoto is home to plenty must-see sights. Admire the beauty of Golden Pavilion and see the Ten Thousand Gates, known for its impressive rows of red torii gates. If you’re looking to indulge in some local cuisine, be sure to try a Kyo-kaiseki-ryori, a meal made up of multiple dishes from Kyoto cuisine.
Day 10: Kochi (B, L, D)
Located on the southern coast off the island of Shikoku, Kochi is a small city peppered with an array of cultural, historical and natural heritage. Visit Kochi Castle, built in 1601, and admire the views of the city and landscape from above. Try the traditional bonito fish while you’re here, a delicious sashimi style dish that is commonly called tatakai and served at a number of the stalls at the Hirome Ichiba marketplace.
Day 11: At Sea (B, L, D)
Today is yours to do as little or as much as you like.
Day 12: At Sea (B, L, D)
Make the most of your last day on-board Voyager of the Seas ®.
Day 13: Hong Kong – – New Zealand (B)
Arrive back in Hong Kong today. Make your own way to the airport at the appropriate time to board your flight home.
