Take in marvellous sights, culture and history on a 14 day Golden China tour with Yangtze River cruise.

Begin your tour of China in Beijing. This incredible city is brimming with a treasure trove of culturally and historically important landmarks, and you will take a trip to see some of the most well-known imperial sights on your first day in the city. You will be in awe of the scale and size of Tiananmen Square, and then enter the once secret world beyond the walls of the Forbidden City. Tick off a bucket list experience by walking a section of the Great Wall of China, and learn about China’s most precious and celebrated stone, Jade.

Board a bullet train to Xi’an, an ancient city that marks the starting point of the famous Silk Road. Plus you see the legendary Terracotta Army discovered by accident in 1974. Move to Shanghai, the financial epicentre of China, walk along the Bund and stroll the Nanjing district while here. Swap cities for the quiet still of rural China as you begin your cruise along the Yangtze River. Voyage along this iconic river and soak in the passing scenery – mountains and gorges, cliff faces and small villages. Begin mornings with a serene session of Tai Chi, and fill your days with optional excursions to nearby pagodas and temples.
