Spend 3 nights discovering all the city has to offer. Independent exploration is the perfect opportunity for uncovering the charms of the city, from the sprawling green lawns of Stanley Park, to the vibrant stalls at Public Market and the whistles of the Steam Clock in Gastown.
Move from Vancouver to Jasper onboard a VIA Rail train. Settle into your sleeper berth as the train travels through some of Canada’s most striking countryscapes including Mt. Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. You’ll enjoy a delicious dinner on-board before arriving in Jasper the following morning, where you can take a day of independent sightseeing. You may wish to quietly stroll it’s streets or sample its winter fare. An early morning departure takes you along the world-famous Icefields Parkway to the alpine resort town of Lake Louise. On the journey, you’ll gaze in awe at the towering frozen waterfalls and majestic peaks covered in a pristine layer of white snow. A true winter wonderland! Walk around the shores of the ‘Diamond in the Wilderness,’ Lake Louise, and be blown away to see it transformed into one of the world’s most scenic skating rinks.
More free time follows in Banff, you’ll be captivated by its wintry beauty and warm welcome. With easy access to its pristine wilderness and a vibrant history to uncover, there’s much to see and do. Have the opportunity to take part in a Banff Winter Sightseeing Tour enabling you to sample a range of Canadian winter experiences, where you can try out snowshoes at Lake Minnewanka, see the steaming thermal waters of the hot springs and snap truly stunning photos. End the day with a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain to soak in the epic winter views and experience the sun fading over the mountain tops.

- Final payment is due 120 days prior to travel. If you book within 120 days of travel, you will be sent an invoice within 7 days for final payment.
- Invoices will be emailed to you in advance and it is your responsibility to ensure payments are made prior to the due date
- Final payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Should payment not be received by the due date, your booking will be cancelled and all prior payments will remain strictly non-refundable.

Documentation: Documentation will be provided after final payment is complete and within 2-3 weeks of travel, including E-Ticket instructions, hotel confirmation, itinerary extension & optional tour confirmation (where applicable) and destination travel tips. VIA Rail Canada:
Train Sleeper Touring Class Berth – by day, they form two couch style seats facing each other. By night, berths convert to curtained, semi-private compartments with two stacked beds, with access to a shared shower and toilet. You’ll also be provided with shower kits including shampoo, soap and fresh towels. At night, the upper berth is lowered forming one bed (no window) and the lower benches pull out to meet and create a second bed. Train staff drape the area with two heavy half-curtains to ensure privacy and a ladder is added to access the upper berth. These beds are 70×33 inches and 178×109 cm. As a safety measure and a concern for all passengers’ comfort, beds are made and ladders are put away each morning no later than 10:00 am. Berth accommodations do not have electrical outlets, although the public washrooms do have a large mirror and electrical outlet for use.
Private Cabin – The cabin for 2 is a private space supplied with two armchairs, a walk-in private washroom, separate sink/vanity mirror, a small closet, fan, call button, double bunk-style beds that lower and fold down from the wall, electrical outlet, and shower amenities. There is one public shower/dressing room per car. By night, the service attendant collapses the two armchairs and pulls out two comfortable bunks adorned with comforters and completed with personal reading lights. The room is 87×60 inches or 214×152 cm with an additional private bathroom area.
Departure transfer: Departure transfer to Calgary airport is based on one group transfer. You may share your departure transfer with other travellers.
Child policy: Child price is the same as an adult. Minimum age 2 years old and over.

If you have enjoyed the knowledge, service and expertise of the local tour guide and driver a tip (while not compulsory) is appropriate towards the end of your trip. While it may not be customary in New Zeealand, tipping is entrenched into many cultures especially within the tourism industry globally. It helps reward and inspire excellent service. The following is provided to assist our guests, but we leave the decision to provide a gratuity entirely at their discretion:
- Tipping and service charges vary between 10% and 15% for taxis, restaurants and clubs.
- Hotel and airport porters expect CAD $1 per bag carried.
- The tour guide: Our past guests have left gratuities based on their overall service of CAD $6 per person per day.
- The driver & assistant: Our past guests have left gratuities based on their overall service of CAD $4 per person per day.
On trains, you are free to tip your server in the dining car and the individual responsible for your room or berth in the sleeper car. Do remember, however, that the crew may change several times on long journeys.
Health: Different levels of travel involve varying degrees of activity and we recommend a good level of fitness and health in order to fully experience the package and optional tours purchased, including site-seeing by foot, climbing of stairs and extended day touring. It remains each passenger’s responsibility to inform Webjet Tours of any health or mobility issues that may impact the running of the tour, both for the safety of the passenger concerned and for other travellers in the group.
